What's In My Bag?

Oh look, it's another generic blogger 'what's in my bag' post. I know I know, you've probably seen a thousand and one of these posts, but they're some of my favourites and so I thought I'd share mine with you.
This is my bag. It's from River Island and is this gorgeous half cream and half snake print (I seem to have fallen a little bit in love with snake print recently). Inside it's quite spacious and it has a panel down the middle, creating two sections.

This is the contents of my bag, along with all the rubbish and penny's that roam the bottom. I somehow seem to accumulate a hole lot of crap in my bag and I'm not quite sure how that happens.

I always carry round a notebook and pen with me, simply because I always think of good ideas whilst I'm out and if I don't jot them down, then I'll forget them.

Secondly we have my phone and earphones. My phone is the iPhone 5C which I'm in LOVE with because it's pink. I have this phone case from Claire's and it's so adorable, I just can't think of a name for him. I also have my earphones which I keep around this earphone holder from M&S. It's actually really handy and stops them from getting tangled.

I keep this little bag from Vaseline in my bag to contain all my little beauty bits. Inside I keep a hand sanitiser from Primark (it smells like vanilla fudge!), some soothers, a hand cream from Lush, the Soap&Glory Kick Ass concealer, a mirror, a lip balm, a mascara, a scrunchy, a deodorant, a perfume sample and a perfume from Victoria Secret. Woah that's a lot!

Lastly I have my sunglasses (which are from ebay), my tangle teaser and a roller ball perfume from Juicy Couture.

A Guide To Your Breakouts

How well do you know your face? We all get breakouts from time to time, but I've always wondered what it is that caused them. I did a little research and it turns out that certain parts of your face link to certain things. I decided to give you a little tour around the map that is your face!

1 and 3 - Your digestive system.
Having a lot of fat in your diet is one of the main causes of breakouts on your forehead. It's a good idea to have a detox - water and green tea is great for this!

2 - Your liver.
This area breakouts mainly due to a high dairy and alcohol intake. Spots in this area may also be caused by a food allergy - which obviously you should consult your GP about! Otherwise, try to cleanse your diet.

4, 6, 8 and 10 - Your kidneys.
Dehydration can cause breakouts close to ears and even dark circles under your eyes! Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated - try to avoid tea, coffee and salt as these dehydrate you.

7 - Your heart.
Your nose is made up of dilated pores, to avoid spots keep all make up brushes and anything else you put near your face clean. Find out whether your blood pressure is high, if it is, replace fatty foods with fruits, vegetables and nuts.

5 and 9 - Your respiratory system.
Smoking can cause breakouts on the tops of your cheeks. A way to avoid these spots is to increase the amount of fresh air you get - taking long walks regularly is great for your skin!

11 and 13 - Your hormones.
'That time of the month' can cause spots for many women. Stress and hormonal imbalances are also key factors in causing breakouts - clean eating and exercise will help.

12 - Your stomach.
Breakouts on your chin can be caused by a bad diet. If your diet is full of heavy and rich foods, then try having a detox. Adding more fibre to your diet can also help reduce these breakouts.

14 - Illnesses.
Spots erupt here because your body is trying to fight off bacteria. If you start to feel ill then relax and drink lots of water.

Enjoy your new and clear skin!
Thanks for reading!

New Years Resolutions

Happy new year! Gosh, I know everyone has said it already but I can't quite believe it's 2015 already! Last year went by so quick, I still feel like it only just started.
Now, I'm not a big one for 'new years resolutions' but in the spirit of making this year a good one, I decided to share some of my goals for 2015 with you. Due to the fact that I know I won't stick to strict resolutions, I thought I'd go with broader ones that are much more achievable.
Source

1) Drink more water - water is great for you! It's good for your skin, good for your body and it just makes you feel better, so why not drink more of it? It is free after all.

2) Be happier - happiness is a choice. Sure, we all have our down days, and that's perfectly fine; we just have to keep those days contained into one day, instead of letting it ruin our week. I find that I tend to think myself into a bad mood, but surely if I can't think myself into a bad mood, I should be able to think myself into a good mood too.

3) Give more - I'm a selfish person, there's no doubt about that. However, this year I plan to give more, in whatever way I can. Whether that be through presents, kind gestures or just simple compliments.

What are your new years resolutions? Let me know!
