Like many people nowadays, I am a massive advocate of Netflix. I much prefer watching series as apose to films due to the fact that I can properly get into them and they're not over too quickly! So, with that said, I thought I'd share my top 5 Netflix picks. I'm the worst person at describing TV shows, so bare with me!
1 - Once Upon A Time.
I absolutely adore this series. The best way I can think to describe it is fairy tales set in a modern day world due to a curse. It may not sound like your cup of tea but I highly recommend you check it out, even my boyfriend loves it! I have to admit it - I watched the entirety of this programme in less than two weeks... Oops!
2 - Pretty Little Liars.
How could I write a blog post about Netflix without mentioning Pretty Little Liars?! Nearly everyone I know has watched this show and all I've heard is positive reviews. It's kind of a a mystery/thriller which includes a group of girls who have a multitude of weird and scary things happen to them. Just a little side note, the first season is a bit crap, but after that it's so intense, you won't be able to stop watching.
3 - The Returned.
This is quite a new series and a new episode is currently being uploaded every Tuesday. This show is basically about people who show up at their homes after being dead for many years, without any knowledge of their death. It's quite an eerie series, but I was hooked after the first episode and whilst it's not my normal 'girly' TV programme, I think a lot of people would definitely enjoy it.
4 - Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
I wasn't sure about this programme when I first started watching it, but after a few episodes I was obbsessed and somehow managed to watch the entire first season in less than 24 hours. I have a problem. There is currently only one season avaliable on Netflix, but I'm hoping for more! This series is about a group of women rescued from an underground cult and it follows Kimmy as she discovers the wonders of New York City.
5 - Breaking Bad.
Everyone and their dog seems to have watched Breaking Bad, but if you haven't then it's a must. I admit that I was unsure about starting to watch this programme as I didn't really think it was my thing but oh how I was wrong. It's about a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with terminal cancer and therefore decides to produce crystal meth with an ex-student in order to secure his family's future. Although this may not seem like the type of thing you'd be into, I suggest you give it a go because you'll probably be suprised!
I'm currently watching Grimm on Netflix, have any of you watched it?
What are your top Netflix picks? Let me know!
Thanks for reading!
